WASHINGTON — Seven months after taking office, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. is reshaping the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division by pushing it back into some of the most important areas of American political life, including voting rights, housing, employment, bank lending practices and redistricting after the 2010 census.

YO Bama Bama

YO Bama Bama

Over the last couple of days I have read many articles about Senator Ted Kennedy.  To me it is very clear that like most political figures he is either loved or dispised depending upon which side of the isle you sit on.  Liberals have begun to use Sen. Ted Kennedy’s passing as a rallying cry for the legislation, reminding voters that the package idling on Capitol Hill was “the cause” of Kennedy’s life.  Really?  According to a recent  Rassmussen poll 53% of people polled oppose the current Health care bill that is in the congress. Rasmussen also found that 50% of those polled thought that the current Bill would make the Health care system worse, while 23% thought it would make things better.  So “the cause”  as the Liberals suggest is  to pass a bill even though it does not have the support of a majority of Americans.  To me using the death of a career politician  to further your cause is very distasteful.  The Democrats/Liberals must be stopped from taking our country away from us.  They are willing to do whatever they want because they think they know better than us.  Make a stand, start a blog, call your Congressman or local Senator, go to a town hall meeting.  We must get off the sideline and into the game to make our presence known.  America is under siege by radical left-wing politicians and if we do nothing our children and grandchildren will never know the America we love.

Proposed bill would give White House ability to shut down internet

Federal government control just wants to keep growing!  Take a look at this article about some proposed legislation in the Senate.  Funny how the liberals were all up in arms about the Patriot Act, but if Federal control is suggested by liberals, they don’t seem to mind it.    Speak to your Senator if this concerns you!

Founding Fathers

August 27, 2009 By: bubbachewie Category: Political

I saw that Janine Garafolo said that tea party protesters were “racists” and “retarded”.  I would bet that Britains and British loyalists during the American Revolution said similar things about our founding fathers - retarded racists like John Adams and George Washington.  Aren’t we fighting for the same things they did?  We have to be steadfast in the face of the insults and criticisms of our socialist comrades; these barbs pale in comparison to the physical and financial terror wreaked upon our founding fathers by the oppressive British government.  (No offense to current-day Brits!)

Sarah Palin

August 27, 2009 By: bubbachewie Category: Sarah Palin

So, I’m talking to my friend about Sarah Palin’s Facebook page and how powerful it seems to be.  Can it really be all Republican operatives following her?  I saw that 17,000 people commented (positively, I might add) to her invitation to view a recent episode of the new Glenn Beck show.  How many followers must one have to get 17,000 people to comment on one’s post?  I feel a real revolution going on.  Good news, conservatives, we are not alone.

Group Runs Facebook Ad Asking Palin to “Stop Lying”

August 25, 2009 By: bubbachewie Category: Political

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin set off a frenzied debate about health care reform when she accused President Obama of planning to establish “death panels” via health care reform. Now, proponents of the president’s health care agenda are taking to Palin’s preferred medium to attack her claims, with a Facebook ad asking Palin to “stop lying.”

Obama’s Plan to Desecrate 9/11

August 25, 2009 By: bubbachewie Category: Uncategorized

The Obama White House is behind a cynical, coldly calculated political effort to erase the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks from the American psyche and convert Sept. 11 into a day of leftist celebration and statist idolatry.
